Air Arabia is set to strengthen its presence in Poland with the launch of a new nonstop service connecting Sharjah with Gdansk from 14 December 2026. The new route will expand the airline’s network between the United Arab Emirates and Poland, offering travellers a direct connection to the Baltic coastal city.
Air Arabia Five Weekly Flights
The Sharjah–Gdansk service will operate five times a week, providing a mix of morning and afternoon departures to accommodate both leisure and business travellers. On Mondays and Saturdays, flights will depart Sharjah at 16:00 and arrive in Gdansk at 20:00. The return service is scheduled to leave Gdansk at 20:50. On Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, flights will depart Sharjah at 08:15, with the corresponding Gdansk departure scheduled for 13:05.
The new service will provide travellers with greater flexibility while strengthening direct air connectivity between the two markets.
Expanding Polish Network
Gdansk will become Air Arabia’s fourth destination in Poland from Sharjah. The airline already serves Warsaw Chopin and Krakow, while Katowice is also scheduled to join its network in December 2026.
The expansion underlines Air Arabia’s broader focus on developing connectivity between the UAE and European destinations, particularly markets with growing potential for tourism and commercial exchanges.
Boost to Tourism and Trade
The airline expects the new route to support both leisure and corporate travel while contributing to stronger tourism, investment and trade links between the UAE and Poland’s Pomerania region.
Gdansk Airport has also highlighted the destination’s appeal to Gulf travellers, pointing to its cooler summer climate and Baltic coastline as potential attractions. The direct service could make the region more accessible to visitors seeking an alternative European summer destination.
Airbus A320-Family Aircraft
Flights will be operated using Airbus A320-family aircraft, consistent with Air Arabia’s regional and international network operations. Tickets for the new service are already available through the airline’s distribution channels, allowing travellers to plan trips to Gdansk ahead of the route’s December launch.
The addition is expected to further enhance Air Arabia’s European network while creating a new direct travel link between Sharjah and Poland’s northern coastal region.
