ABU DHABI, UAE, October 21, 2026 – The Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation (SIEF), strategic partner of Investopia, announced two major initiatives at Investopia Bridge 2026, held on October 7 at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Abu Dhabi. The event featured the launch of the 2026 China-Arab Business & Investment Report and the announcement of a strategic partnership with the World Bank focused on strengthening global climate and disaster resilience.
Report Highlights Evolving China-Arab Economic Cooperation
Launched during the plenary session in the presence of H.E. Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, UAE Minister of Investment, and H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism, the report is a joint flagship publication by SIEF and Investopia, supported by HSC Asset Management.
The report examines economic cooperation between China, the UAE, and the broader Arab region, covering opportunities across established and emerging industries. Its New Economy section explores logistics and aviation, energy and petrochemicals, real estate and construction, machinery and equipment, and culture and tourism. The New Economy section focuses on renewable energy and storage, digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence, trade finance and settlement, and mobility and electric vehicles.
Together, these sectors reflect a shift beyond conventional trade and energy ties toward deeper investment partnerships, localized manufacturing, technology collaboration, financial innovation, talent development, and cooperation in third markets across the Global South.
CEO Roundtable Promotes Long-Term Investment Partnerships
Earlier, SIEF hosted a CEO roundtable titled “From Trade to Partnership: Unlocking the Next Chapter of China-Arab Investment.” Senior executives from China and Arab countries, representing organizations including the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Huawei, CICC, Klickl, Phoenix Media, Keeta, and XtalPi, discussed strategies for converting growing commercial ties into sustainable, long-term investment partnerships.
SIEF and World Bank Join Forces on Resilience
SIEF and the World Bank also announced their Strategic Partnership in Understanding Risk. The collaboration aims to connect business, government, and community leaders across the Middle East, Africa, and other regions to advance climate and disaster resilience.
The partnership will strengthen stakeholder coordination, facilitate strategic initiatives, accelerate innovation and knowledge exchange, and expand global communications.
